Catechists are Andrew and Thomye Lashley.

​

Meets Sundays after the 9am Mass (during the school year).  Meet in the parish hall, enjoy coffee and donuts and then proceed to Madonna Hall.

​

Children who are kindergarten age through 18 are welcome.  Children younger than 5 are encouraged to stay, if accompanied by their caregiver.  

​

Preparation will include a minimum of 15 hours of instruction each year for three years totaling 45 hours of instruction.  One-third--or 15--hours shall involve catechesis with the parents.

​

Grade 1:  Establish a basic understanding of what the sacraments are, why they're necessary, and initial exposition (especially of Reconciliation, Confirmation, and Holy Eucharist)

 

Grade 2:  Preparation for celebration of Reconciliation, which takes place near the end grade 2.

 

Grade 3:  Preparation for celebration of Confirmation and First Holy Communion, which takes place near the end of grade 3.
